In the spirit of cooperation, SJTU and Sophia University have signed a memorandum of understanding and reached a consensus on the establishment of student exchange programs between both universities for bachelor and master students. 
The agreements are based on the academic, scientific and educational needs of both universities and include:

• Exchange of faculties and students.
• Exchange of academic materials.
• Cooperating in making and conducting research plans, including budget plans. 
• Cooperating in holding conferences, seminars and international training programs. 
• Encouraging exchanges between both faculties and students for degree and non-degree programs.
